Initial treatments may be longer to allow time to get acquainted with the patient and their condition, typically taking around 45 minutes. Follow-up treatments usually last between 20-30 minutes.
How many acupuncture treatments do I need?
Acupuncture results are cumulative and a series of treatments is usually recommended for lasting relief. While most patients feel relief after their first treatment, the number of treatments needed can vary depending on the severity and duration of the condition.
